I AM A GATEWAY
I INITIATE - I CATALYZE - I SEE - I CREATE OPENINGS

WHY AM I DOING THIS WORK?
The passion and pursuit of social justice lives in my blood and bones. I come from a lineage of activists for positive change. I was born in apartheid South Africa and lived in America as an othered, disenfranchised woman of color. On my journey of self inquiry and healing I was often the only person in the space that looked like me, had lived like me. This experience drives my advocacy of equity in the spaces of healing, wellness, personal, professional & spiritual development.
Now, I create opportunities for our inclusion, our story, our wisdom contribution. The tools and technologies for well being, abundance and a divine life must be made available and accessible to all. Those who have made it to the top, accomplished great success, found happiness, they are not better than you, smarter than you or more deserving.
No, the biggest difference is simply that they had support, mentors, coaches, teachers, community and access to information.
So why not you, why not us?
It’s time to give yourself a way up.

I’M A CREATIVE PROFESSIONAL WITH 20 YEARS OF LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
-
With a degree in advertising from the University of Florida, I’ve taken the helm as marketing director at a multi-location children’s edutainment company, an international retreat center in the jungle of Costa Rica and most recently, at a 7-figure coaching company. My foundation includes years at a traditional advertising agency in Los Angeles with clients like Wells Fargo, Heineken, Farmers Insurance and the California Lottery. Sparking my passion, my earliest leadership role was the co-creating the first wave of experiential and cultural marketing at Red Bull North America.
-
When I moved to Los Angeles I parlayed my experience on stage and love for acting to the entertainment industry. My husband and I wrote, produced and directed award-winning short films garnering praise from the late, great Stan Lee. We started our own production company, Love Entertainment, and went on to create and internationally release two full length feature films with a third on the way. My film background serves clients who hire me as a creative director for brand transformations ensuring their media and content tells a clear and compelling story.
-
I stepped off of the traditional employment path in 2010 and never looked back. In the years that followed I’ve cultivated my entrepreneurial spirit, opened my own production company and consulted for a range of businesses leveraging my marketing and media expertise. In addition, I co-founded and ran my own women’s non-profit and produced dozens of events at the intersection of wellness, arts and culture.
-
A life-changing spiritual initiation in 2010 put my life on a different trajectory, one that integrated healing, mindfulness and a passion for the mystery of life into all that I do. I am certified as a teacher of Prana Flow Vinyasa yoga, have facilitated yoga and wellness retreats around the world, studied meditation and personal development with masters and learned empowering life skills from my own investments in various healing modalities and coaching. In a world that puts material success and external validation on a pedestal, it is this inner work and spiritual practice that truly liberates and delivers peace, power and happiness.

WHO AM I TO GUIDE YOUR JOURNEY?
On my life path I’ve dealt with trauma, inequity, racism, misogyny, heartbreak, depression, anxiety, poverty and the conditioning of capitalist colonizer extraction culture.
I’ve experienced the damage of buying into the thoughtlessly peddled idea that success, health, self love or living as one’s true self can be easy, a matter of mindset and determination. There are layers and levels to healing. And, much of what plagues us is the result of the collective or system we live in, not any personal inadequacy. So, discard any idea that there’s no hope and be vigilant about who you let whisper in your ear.
Choosing change is a lifelong practice. But when we shift our relationship to our past, our parts and our pain, it becomes a whole lot easier. Woop woop, speaking from experience ;)
